Add a "Content Editor Web Part" to the page. In "Source Editor" type the following css code
<style type="text/css">
    margin-top: 0px;
   width: 0px;

    I was able to increase the empty space but was not able to remove or reduce it using the method suggested here. Any ideas why?

    All I did was make sure it was the first web part in that section.

  3. I can't seem to make this work. I have put this code at the top section and tried it again at the top of the page, but nothing thus far.

  9. Thanks man! It's working fine in Sharepoint 2010. I changed the margin-top: 0px to margin-top: -10px for an even tighter look. Cheers!
